Please get your thyroid checked! It can cause anxiety and depression amongst other things. A lot of people walk around with thyroid problems and don't know it. I went to my Dr and asked them to check my thyroid (blood tests). If I didn't then I would still be walking around and not knowing that I have hypothyroidism. I hope you're doing ok! I hope this will help someone else too. 💞

I’m working on a 12 point star for a friends baby girl, they also have a 3 year old boy. I wouldn’t feel right about baby sis gets a gift and nothing for him. I know that say it shouldn’t matter, but being the sibling that didn’t get anything. I love peace and happiness, so I’ll also prevent hurting anyone feelings. Thank You

I did go to Tamara's blog to get the pattern, I'm a better visual learner so I'm glad I was able to get your insight on this pattern to better understand the stitches and all around pattern design. I have been crocheting mine as I go when I switch colors. It locks it down under the new stitches so they are not going anywhere

You mentioned worsted weight yarn at the beginning and then you also showed a chunky yarn for the ears is that also worsted weight ?

Hey, i know cotton is recommended, but i would like to use merino wool yarn. Is that okay too? I totally understand that acrylic doesnt work, i never use it anyway.

Karen I know your story. Depression is so hard to understand if you have never suffered from it. Of my three children two have never been depressed, like their dad. My younger daughter suffers like me, my mother and my sister. My husband has a large and lovely family none of whom are ever depressed. They may get down and feel off but not the same. So glad that mental health issues are talked about now and understood better. Thank you and lots of love to you.

Lovely cardigan. When we lost my Mom, we wore purple to the memorial. I wasn’t crocheting then due to my arthritis. I’m crocheting again and find my hands are actually better with the constant motion/activity. Anyway, I wish I had this pattern back then. It’s terrific! Thank you. Sorry about your back. I’ve had arthritis in my back for 40 plus years and some days are unbearable, but I keep busy with my crochet & my cat!! Hope you feel better soon😘 ( oops, just realized this video is from 2017). I love Drops sweaters, but their patterns are hard to follow, and they use charts for everything! I hate charts & graphs. Even after crocheting since I was in 6th grade (almost 45 years).
